Junior guard Eric Maynor scored a game-high 22 points, but 21 turnovers unraveled VCU in a 64-55 road loss to Hampton on Thursday. VCU falls to 3-3 with the loss, while Hampton lifts its record to 3-3.

Senior Jamal Shuler scored 15 points for the Rams, knocking down five of his nine three-point attempts. He also hauled in seven rebounds.

Rashad West poured in 17 points and handed out five assists to lead the Pirates, while Adrian Woodard chipped in 10 points and four rebounds.

The Rams return to action on Sun., Dec. 2 when they take on Maryland at 7:30 p.m. at the Verizon Center in the 2007 BB&T Classic.
