Somehow, Scafidi has managed to turn a tiny take-out place into a full-service, sit-down, neighborhood restaurant and bar. The bar, a jewel-box of wood and curves is adorned with an Art Deco radio set into its cabinetry. Scafidi credits the radio bars from the 1960’s, the kind where the top lifts up to reveal a row of bottles, for stirring his hand.
