Ginter Park United Methodist, located at 1010 West Laburnum, is offering low-cost meals to the public on Wednesday evenings. First Wednesdays are $1 Spaghetti nights — spaghetti with your choice of a meat or meatless sauce, bread, salad, dessert and beverage for $1. The rest of the Wednesdays during the month have a variety of menus at the cost of $3 per meal. An example: savory meatloaf, home made mashed potatoes, peas, jello salad, cake with chocolate frosting and beverages. Meals on second Wednesdays are also $1, with pancakes with sausage or bacon.
GPUMC has a commercial kitchen on site, and all foods are prepared there. Call 262-8651 for more details.
