The coordinators of the Community Garden at Humphrey Calder Community Center, located at 414 North Thompson Street (map, will be holding a very important planning meeting this coming Thursday, January 8, at 7:30PM.
Planners are hoping attendees will reserve additional plots in order to maximize the area made available for the garden by the Department of Parks and Recreation. Public interest in reserving plots will determine the scope of the project, so all those interested in seeing a large successful community garden are encouraged to attend.
