Central Virginia Wine Festival this weekend in Innsbrook

Sample 16 Virginia wineries at one of the area’s largest wine festivals

Central Virginia Wine Festival

The Central Virgina Wine Festival, an annual benefit event put on by the Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, returns to the Innsbrook SnagAJob.com Pavilion this Saturday, May 10th. Gates open at 12:00 PM and the festival runs until 6:00 PM.

This year’s event, now in its eighth year, features 16 Virginia wineries, including:

  • Annefield Vineyards
  • Belle Mount Vineyards
  • Byrd Cellars
  • DelFosse Vineyards
  • Elk Island
  • Horton Vineyards
  • Hunt’s Family Vineyard
  • Lake Anna Winery
  • Lazy Days Winery
  • Mattaponi Winery
  • Notaviva Vineyards
  • North Mountain Vineyard
  • Rebec Vineyards
  • Stone Mountain Vineyards
  • Trump Winery
  • Weston Farm Vineyard

In addition to the wineries, food vendors and local artisans and craftsmen from around the area will be selling their wares. Live music will be provided by School of Rock, 41 Diesel, and Big Enough throughout the day.

Tickets are $20 in advance online and $25 at the gate the day of the event. Admission includes tastings from each vendor and a souvenir wine glass. Non-drinker and designated driver tickets are $8 in advance; $10 at the gate. Admission is free for those under 21.

The Innsbrook SnagAJob Pavilion is located at 4901 Lake Brook Drive. Much like with Innsbrook After Hours concerts, free parking is available surrounding the site.

Proceeds will benefit the general scholarship & endowment funds for the Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association.
