CBS6 is developing a series called Petersburg: A City Derailed?. The first segment summarizes the city’s challenges, points to the Efficiency Review’s conclusion that “Nothing short of a transformation in how the city operates is needed,” and summarizes the course the series will take — ultimately to address the question of what must change for the city to reverse course. In the second segment, the series questions the city’s funding priorities, focusing largely on the schools and the golf course.
