This house was on the Work Places and Living Spaces Tour last April:

The property was acquired in November 2006 and restoration began immediately. Completion is targeted for this spring. The edifice is being converted for a private residence with office space in the basement. The three-floor structure will feature a deck and kitchen spanning Brickhouse Run with grating that will allow you to view the water below. The building was constructed in 1836, burned in 1851 and rebuilt. Originally a newspaper print shop, it was home to “The Petersburg Intelligencer” from 1836–1854. Most recently the structure was occupied by Rick’s Thermogenics, a dietary supplement supply company. Renovation surprises are evidence that the structure was not completely destroyed by the fire, hidden heart pine flooring and beautiful stonework in the basement.
