The Appomattox Chamber Society will present a concert Sunday, December 28, at Blandford Church in Petersburg [map] at 2:00 pm. The Society is a local tri-cities area group that focuses on the performance of Baroque and early Classical Chamber music on period instruments. In addition to the musical presentation, ACS will acquaint its listeners with some interesting history about baroque and classical music, instruments and composers. The audience will have an opportunity to enjoy the music while gazing at the famous Tiffany stained glass windows.
Admission is free. Doors open to the public for the event at 1:30.
