Virginia Festival of the Antique comes to the Virginia Historical Society

The first ever event will include a number of guest speakers and over twenty booths of antiquities.

The Virginia Historical Society will host the first ever Virginia Festival of the Antique October 23rd through the 25th at the museum on North Boulevard.

Special guest speakers will include the First Lady of Virginia Dorothy McAuliffe, Wallace Gusler of Colonial Williamsburg, and Ken Farmer of Antiques Roadshow. The festival includes twenty booths and dealers of antiques who will speak about their collections.

Topics of discussion include ceramics, prints, silver, textiles, rare books, painting restoration, collecting, and antique identification.

Tickets may be purchased online in advance, or at the entrance to the festival. Admission is $10 for non-members; free for members.
