Tucker High School students transform old bicycles into works of art
Students, teachers, and neighbors donated the old bikes for use in the creative project.

Some Tucker High School students recently had fun decorating old bikes to place around the school just in time for the Big Bike Race™ last week. The project, led by teacher Jane Selden, was modeled off a similar effort in Ashland.
“After seeing the article in the Richmond Times[-Dispatch] on the Ashland bikes to promote the bike races, I thought it would be fun to do at school,” Selden said in an email. “We are having fun with some great bikes representing our different classes, XC, Art classes, FCLLA, Science Ecology Club, etc. They are very imaginative.”
Teachers, students, and Selden’s neighbors donated the old bikes for the project.
