Henley Street Theatre & Richmond Shakespeare will be performing The Taming of the Shrew for one night only on May 13^th at 7pm at Maymont Park. This event is sponsored by Maymont and the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation. This is a free event and open to the entire family.

Set in the 1930’s, this production evokes the best of Hollywood’s screwball comedies and glamorous musicals, gangster movies — even the Marx Brothers and WC Fields! This beloved Shakespeare comedy about men, women, power and love will charm and enchant you.
