Parade of Lights to float the James this Saturday
I’m on a boat.
The 23rd Annual James River Parade of Lights presented by the James River Advisory Council is Saturday, December 12th.
Boats of all sorts will be dressed in their holiday finery and plan to light up the James River. The fun starts at 4:30 PM at Libby Hill Park with pre-parade activities including a bonfire and marshmallows. Expect to see the boat parade start around 6 PM.
Another good spot is Rocketts Landing Area, Dock Street. Construction will force viewers into one of two spots but there will be a food truck on site.
