Live broadcast of Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! comes to Modlin
One of NPR’s popular shows, and two British plays, are recent additions to the 2013 Modlin Center for the Arts schedule.

NPR’s popular quiz show Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me! will be broadcasted at the Modlin Center for the Arts’ Camp Concert Hall on May 9th at 7:30 PM. Hosts Peter Sagal and scorekeeper Carl Kasell will be joined by scheduled panelists Paula Poundstone, Mo Rocca, and Tom Bodet.
Tickets are $14 and go on sale Friday, January 18th at 10:00 AM online or by phone at 804.289.8980 (discounts available for seniors, children, and groups over 20).
National Theatre Live, a British theater company that broadcasts performances across the world, will live broadcast award-winning writer Alan Bennet’s People at the Camp Concert Hall on April 28th at 7:30 PM.
The company will also broadcast a live performance of This House, a new play set amid volatile 1974 British politics, on May 16th at 2:00 PM, followed by an encore viewing on May 19th at 3:00 PM.
Tickets to these and other Modlin Center performances can be purchased at the Modlin Center Box Office from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM weekdays and 90 minutes prior to most ticketed performances. Tickets and information can also be retrieved by calling 804.289.8980, or by email.
