Cuban Wrap


  • 10 cloves roasted garlic
  • 1/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/3 c. mustard
  • 4 (6 or 7”) flour tortillas or wraps
  • 4 large romaine lettuce leaves
  • 4 oz deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz roasted pork, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz shredded Swiss cheese
  • Sandwich-style sliced dill pickles

To prepare

Mash the garlic in a small bowl. Add the mayonnaise and mustard and mix well. Spread the mixture on the tortillas, leaving a 1/2 “ border. Place a lettuce leaf on the lower 1/3 of each tortilla. Top each with 1 oz ham, 1 oz pork, 2 TBS cheese and a pickle slice. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly to enclose the filling. May be prepared several hours in advance and chilled, wrapped in parchment paper or plastic wrap, until ready to serve. Makes 4 servings.
