As part of his ongoing series of Favorites, Daniel Warshaw got this great photo of the Bev’s Shockoe Split.

Honestly, I was bewildered at the lack of a second spoon when I looked down at the dish before me. You’d have to be exceptionally hungry to finish Bev’s Shockoe Split ($6.40) on your own, so I think this is a dessert built for sharing. You and a lucky friend can pick three different flavors of homemade ice cream to sit in the middle of a sliced banana, generously covered in strawberries, hot fudge, fresh whipped cream, and an extra topping of your choosing. I hope you had a light dinner.
