After an exciting week in Virginia basketball, the top tier of teams in the Commonwealth Power Ranking remain unchanged.

1	VCU 16-3, 4-0	VCU has won 13 games in a row, their third longest streak ever, and they show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Aaron Williams
2	Virginia 12-5, 2-2	That was a much-needed win for the Cavaliers last week as Virginia held Florida State to just 36 points. That is not a typo. Brian Leung
3	Richmond 12-7, 2-2	Darien Brothers shot lights out on Saturday, scoring a career-high 39 and tying a school-record eight threes against Charlotte. Deion Taylor got his first career start, and it proved to be the perfect formula…but is it potent enough to overcome VCU? Joshua Grice
4	Virginia Tech 11-6, 2-2	Senior Guard Erick Green, aka the Winchester Rifleman, led the Hokies to back-to-back ACC wins: an OT affair at Georgia Tech and a one-point win over Wake at home. The Hokies and Hoos hookup Thursday at Cassell Coliseum. Hoos will be heavy favorites. Gary Cope
5	George Mason 11-7, 4-2	Two straight wins for the Patriots and third place in the CAA standings. Good enough for numero cinco. Gary Cope
⬆6	Norfolk State 10-10, 5-0	At 5-0, Norfolk State is in position to be the #1 seed in the MEAC tournament en route to a second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament. Watch out #1 Duke! Aaron Williams
7⬇	JMU 9-10, 3-3	The Dukes lost two on the road last week, but have five of their next six at the Convocation Center, where they are 5-2 this season. Mark Selig
8	VMI 9-8, 4-1	The Keydets are in first place in the Big South and have an overall winning record. The rest of the teams in the CPR do not. Gary Cope
9	William & Mary 7-10, 1-5	The Tribe’s terrible tumble makes Virginia Tech’s problems look like a stumble. After starting 7-3, W&M has now lost seven straight. Aaron Williams
10	Radford 9-10, 3-2	The 340th youngest team in Division 1, Mike Jones’s Havoc 2.0 is still a few seasons away from a Big South title. Aaron Williams
