New Year’s Eve options in Carytown and Scott’s Addition
The Ball Rise is back, plus great options for wine and craft beer lovers still in need of New Year’s Eve plans.
Carytown Ball Rise
The tradition continues–that’s the word from The Byrd Theatre manager Todd Schall-Vess. The tradition, which began years ago, draws thousands as a lit ball rises to the top of a pole atop The Byrd. Last year, the event was moved to Hardywood Park Craft Brewery last minute, but Schall-Vess plans to bring the tradition back to its original home. This year, the ball will rise atop New York Deli to be closer to the crowds and allow for increased visibility.
