“Casablanca” for sure. Yeah, I said it. You know I’m right. The mystery, the danger, that song, Rick … *swoon*

  2. It’s SUPER depressing, but “When a Man Loves a Woman” gets me EVERY TIME I see it.

I know. It’s a Meg Ryan movie, but she plays an alcoholic in this one! No cutesy to be found!

  3. Harold & Maude

Don’t even try to contest me on this. You will fail…

  4. Oh my God, I love that movie.

  5. True story, it is one of my “perfect” movies. Jaws is another.

  6. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, in the true sense of the word romantic.

  7. Oooooo, I thought of another one! The Apartment. Also a perfect movie.

say anything. One of my all time faves. I always wanted to find a blue chevy malibu just like Lloyd Dobler’s.

“shes so lovely” sean penn, his wife, harry dean stauten

plus john travolta and james gandolfini

  11. Hhaha I thought you were saying Sean Penn was married to Harry Sean Stauten. THAT would be amazing.

Varsity Blues. totally romantic, especially during the whipped topping bikini!

  13. Harry Sean Staunton? Is the comined super human form of Harry Dean Staunton and Sean Penn?

  14. IT WAS A TYPO, TAYLOR. GEEZ.

  15. “is the comined” Apparently I have contested your typo with more typos. Other great romantic movies: Lost in Translation, and WALL-E (and whatever movie they were watching in WALL-E)

  16. Wait taylor, didn’t we watch wall-e together? now i see your romantic robot schemes! that does remind me of other movies that i have gotten teary-eyed at while watching with other dudes in the room. that would make “larry bird: a basketball legend” my pick for most bromantic

  17. HELLO DOLLY!!
    Not a great movie actually.

  18. Liberty on said:

they should make a romance movie between wall-e and c3po or r2d2

  19. I find Garden State particularly romantic. plus it has a killer soundtrack. “Good luck exploring the infinite abyss.”

  20. harold and maude is a good one.

and i watched jaws today. man that movie is good.

i mean the real obvious answer is clueless guys. whats more romantic than falling in love with your former step brother?

    JK

real answer: when harry met sally

  21. Yeah, on second thought Nate, it may not have been the movie itself, but the Strawberry Whoppers. Speaking of WALL-E and C-3PO/R2D2, I could see that. I mean the droid transporter looks an awful lot like WALL-E’s home…just sayin’. Also, Opera Jawa is pretty romantic, in a creepily bizarre way, but it is based off the Ramayana, which kind of wins in all genres(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8dgsHbB1Pk).

  22. The most romantic movie is Princess Bride OBVIOUSLY.
