So long, RVA!
A house at 1310 N. 27th Street burned in 2006. It sat vacant, on perhaps the most vacant block in all of Church Hill, for almost seven years. On Thursday night it was one of four Golden Hammer award winners, recognized by Better Housing Coalition.
The nominees for the Better Housing Coalition’s 2013 Golden Hammer awards have been announced. This year there are 12 nominees in the 4 categories of residential renovation, commercial renovation (small), commercial renovation (large), and infill construction.
