Back in January the City’s Coliseum study group announced hopes to building a $147 million arena to replace Richmond’s largest (and aging) venue. Our resident cartoonist offers up some commentary on the matter.

Governor McDonnell recently proposed a budget amendment that will allow the City to purchase the site of a historic slave burial ground from VCU (who is currently using the space as a parking lot). If approved, the transfer of property won’t go into effect until this summer.
