Saturday, the University of Richmond likely hosts the last college game to be played in city stadium as they welcome the mighty Appalachian State Mountaineers. Richmond is fresh off their NCAA title and the Mountaineers are the equivalent of the New England Patriots, winning the previous 3 titles. It should be a good game, and I have heard there may be up to 20,000 people coming for the 7 PM kickoff.
If you are a sports fan, go to the game because it is a quality product. If you aren’t a fan, beware that your parking spaces might be sparse. Expect people to be parking all over the place especially on Parkwood, Grayland, Colonial, S. Belmont, etc. Consider yourselves warned.
