Westover Hills Elementary hosting annual Leadership Day

Leadership Day is to celebrate the school’s first-year of the Leader in Me program.

From the RPS press release:

WHAT: Westover Hills Elementary School will host its first Leadership Day, a culminating event to celebrate the school’s first-year of the Leader in Me program, a whole-school leadership model designed to impact school culture by helping students develop essential life skills and leadership characteristics. The model is based on the best-selling book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Dr. Stephen R. Covey.
During the event, students will highlight the accomplishments from this year’s program with presentations, performances and a tour of classrooms where students will demonstrate how they have implemented the Leader in Me model into their core curriculum, student activities and overall culture of the school.

WHO: Students, staff, parents WHEN: Friday, May 15, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
