Police chase ends in crash at Bryan Park

Anybody happen to get a picture?

I’ve got nothing more to go on than this RTD story.

A man wanted for failure to pay child support led police on a high-speed chase tonight before crashing into a tree, according to Henrico County police.

Henrico police say the pursuit began at about 9 p.m. when officers tried to stop the man near a convenience store at intersection of Laburnum and Alma avenues, after the man violated a traffic law.

The driver, in an SUV, failed to stop for police and continued into Richmond and crashed into a tree at Bryan Park, Henrico police Lt. C.J. Maurice said.

The man was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, and charges are pending, according to police.
