Near West End and West End Neighborhood Road Condition Crowdsourcing

The Richmond Snow Plowing Status Map is wonderful in theory. In reality it doesn’t seem to be accurate. I find it hard to believe that not a single route has been completed as shown above.

So let’s find out what’s going on out there and help each other out.

What streets do you know are plowed or treated? I can tell you that that my streets are still a mess and haven’t seen a plow or sand truck. That’s not entirely true a plow drove down our street but didn’t put his plow down so wasn’t very helpful.

In the comments tell us which roads are good to go and if you feel like it vent about the roads that are still snowed in.

We will forever be snowed in at Scott’s Addition. Thankfully for our sanity, the breweries continue to open.

  2. Patterson from Libbie up to three chopt. Not too bad. Probably a lane open in either direction. Problem is the people going 40mph on it like it’s a normal day.

and yet many support govt running of our health care system?

Weldon between Parham and Starling is clear. Starling from Weldon to Fargo and Fargo from Starling to Parham are clear.

Boulevard from Cary to broad is one cleared lane – from broad to the interstate is two cleared lanes.
Main Street was one cleared lane in the fan and as Ellwood in carytown.

A lot of the streets off Floyd (like Allen…) have not been plowed and cars are still stuck. Also doesn’t help to have the plow trucks pushing walls of snow in front of the streets leading down my street.

West Franklin west of 195 has not been plowed.
