2010 User Survey: Chartsandgraphs

Remember back in February when we enticed you all to take the RVANews User Survey with promises of chicken biscuits as far as the eye can see? Well, we thought it’d be interesting to share some of the results with you. You know, so you can learn a little bit about each other… and maybe (just maybe) yourself.

  1. I feel like I know myself that much better now. Thanks, RVANews!

So, who won the chicken biscuits?

    Love me some chartsandgraphs.

  3. Truly the master of charts. Nicely done.

Odd that so few from Southbank (Woodland Heights, Forest Hill, Westover Hills, Manchester etc.) didn’t fill out the survey and didn’t show up on the Where Do You Spend Your Time chart.

    Nice presentation.
Sometimes I forget that people born in the 90’s can read and stuff. Damn I’m old.

  5. @Richard — that is totally a c/p mistake on my part. I’ve updated the chart!

  6. Liberty on said:

im surprised theres no selection for downtown in your where do you spend your time graphic

  7. I’m surprised that I eat out so much.

Awesome that someone’s Grandma can rock the computer and go to rvanews.

  9. This is so cute. I guess things are happening in the West End? Who knew?? Were you able to select more than one option for where you hang? I forgot to take the survey. What are the official West End boundaries? Since Short Pump had its own thing, I imagine this refers to “Near West End,” so is that like “points east of Short Pump, ending at and including Westhampton?” In which case, wow! Seriously what’s going on over there? Maybe I need to cast my net wider. In related news, I have never had a chicken biscuit.

  10. Thanks for the update.

  11. @Liberty — We kind of lumped all of the responses into buckets based on the community blogs. So downtown type people fell into the “river district” bucket.

@showson — No you could only select one, the questions were about where you work and live, not necessarily where you partay.

  12. Haha you know, I was just thinking, “LIVE” probably means “LIVE” and not “HANG OUT.” What is wrong with me! Don’t answer that!
