Cider Celebration opens its taps at the 17th Street Farmers’ Market
“He that drinks his cider alone, let him catch his horse alone.” – Benjamin Franklin

If you long ago wrote off cider after having a super sweet sip a year ago you owe it to yourself to go to this Saturday, November 15th to the Richmond Cider Celebration at the 17th Street Market. A $20 ticket includes ten cider tastings, glassware and a cider bottle carrying tote. The Celebration opens at 11:00 AM and runs until 4:00 PM
With those 10 tickets you’l discover that cider has the taste diversity and complexity that has inspired the recent craft beer explosion in our area.
Virginia cideries offering tastings (you’ll also be able to buy by the glass and bottle) will include:
- Albemarle CiderWorks
- Blue Bee Cider (our local star across the river in Manchester)
- Castle Hill Cider
- Cobbler Mountain Cellars
- Corcoran Vineyards
- Foggy Ridge Cider
- Old Hill Cider
- Potter’s Craft Cider
- Winchester CiderWorks
