Carytown Cupcakes hosting charity happy hour to benefit Gracie’s Guardians

Enjoy an evening of live music, beer and wine, discounted cupcakes, and more.

On Friday, June 12th starting at 5:00 PM, Carytown Cupcakes will host a charity happy hour to benefit the pit bull rescue non-profit Gracie’s Guardians.

It’s all being put on by Happy Camper Productions, an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between non-profits and the local community in an effort to make Richmond a better place for everyone. The organization hosts a monthly “gathering for good” event to raise funds for a particular organization, Gracie’s Guardians being the chosen non-profit for June.

Gracie’s Guardians is a division of Richmond Animal League that specifically focuses on pit bull rehabilitation. Apart from rescuing and offering limited adoptions, the group’s mission is focused primarily on education and awareness outreach.

Tickets for the benefit are $10 and include one glass of prosecco or craft beer and an evening of live music from cold and alt-country band Haze. Cupcakes and discounted drinks will be available for purchase all evening long with the price of admission.

House-made peanut butter dog bones will also be for sale $1.50 per pack with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit the Richmond Animal League.

The benefit runs from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Carytown Cupcakes, located at 3111 West Cary Street.
