The previously thrifty Kroger fuel rewards program gets a revamp to include participating Shell stations! Cowabunga!

Effective Monday, April 4 Kroger’s fuel rewards program has changed to allow customers to save up to $1 off per gallon at Kroger fuel centers AND participating Shell stations. Previously, Shell station reward redemptions were limited to $.10 off per gallon.

And if you’re fuzzy on how Kroger fuel rewards are earned: Customers earn one Fuel Point for every dollar spent on qualifying items when they use their Kroger Plus Card during shopping trips at Kroger stores. Customers also earn 50 Fuel Points for each filled qualifying prescription and double Fuel Points for every dollar spent on third-party gift cards from Kroger’s in-store Gift Card Malls. Every 100 Fuel Points can be redeemed for $.10 off per gallon at Kroger fuel centers and Shell gas stations, just by swiping your Kroger Plus card.

If you’re shopping at MARTIN’S and spending $50 or more don’t forget to use the circular coupon for an extra $.30 off per gallon on a fuel purchase.
