New school start times next year for RPS students
High School 8:00 AM, Middle 8:30 AM, and Elementary 9:00 AM.
Your High School student gets to sleep in a bit and your younger ones have to get up earlier because times they are a changing. During its March 2nd meeting, the Richmond City School Board approved a change in school start times for 2015-2016 school year. The changes are as follows:
- High School (All except Richmond Community High School): 8:00 – 2:45*
- Middle School (All): 8:30 – 3:15
- Elementary School (All): 9:00 – 3:45
*Richmond Community High School will begin at 7:45 a.m.
