Fancy Asian Gourmet and Sushi now Open, here are the menus

Lots of options for your fancy gourmet and sushi dining needs.

Fancy Asian Restaurant (7048 Forest Hill Avenue) is located in the old EVO spot on Forest Hill Avenue across from Target and are now open. Not only are they open they’re ready to serve. Our Hills and Heights New Restaurant Menu Gathering Expert stopped by this afternoon and was meet with four friendly faces. She reports that they were crest fallen when she only left with a menu.

A menu that I’m now happy to share with you or at least most of a menu due to the scanning center being the front seat of a mini. Opening Week you’ll get 20% off your order if you dine in.

Evo was great! I’m glad to see the space occupied, but I’m not sure this place is going to have enough of a niche given local competition and the fact that this menu seems a little unadventurous by comparison to Evo’s. I wish them the best though and will at least give it a shot and see if my reading of the menu doesn’t do it justice.

Do they offer a delivery service? Evo used to deliver, but now only one Asian restaurant in the Forest Hill area will deliver and their service was horrible.

When this place was Asian Galaxy (before Evo) it was the best-really excellent and creative dishes. To me this new concept looks just like every other Chinese restaurant in America with the addition of sushi…..I will continue to mourn the loss of Asian Galaxy.

I will say that we got some to-go sushi last night and it was pretty darn good! Especially for the prices- many rolls are just $5 or so.

I am still heartbroken over the loss of Evo. Nothing on the menu shown here worth going out of the way for. Help me please other readers — where can I get spicy Chinese food to rival Evo’s?

    Thanks
