This weekend, September 12th – 14th, Wizard World is bringing their first comic con to Richmond–and it’s sure to be a Big Deal. I know that just now, in your mind, you pictured an entire convention center full of a thousand of clones of the Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons. First, that’s offensive. Second, that’s totally not what comics (and comic book conventions) are about these days. Get with the times, man!
In this inaugural edition of the convention you’ll find about a billion famous people from Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) to Adam West (Batman), to Jason David Frank (the green Power Ranger!). Plus a boatload of creators and artists (including Kevin Eastman who, no big deal, created the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
