Movie in the Park schedule

Great selection of movies this year including The Lego Movie and Frozen.

The City of Richmond Parks and Recreation will show free “Movies in the Park 2014″ outdoors on Friday nights during the summer. Activities at 8PM and movies begin at 8:30 (or when it gets dark). Refreshments will be available for sale. On the plus side we’ve got The Lego Movie on the downside we’ve got One Direction, this is truly the ying yang of free summer movies in the park.

June 20: Byrd Park near Fountain Lake (600 S Boulevard) – Despicable Me 2
June 27: Broad Rock Sports Complex (4835 Old Warwick Rd) – Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2
July 11: Chimborazo (3000 E. Marshall St) – Disney’s “Super Buddies”
July 18: Abner Clay Park (Leigh St & 200 W Clay St) – Ender’s Game
July 25: Hotchkiss (701 E. Brookland Park Blvd) – Thor “The Dark World”
August 1: Humphrey Calder (414 N Thompson St) – One Direction “This Is Us”
August 8: Battery Park (2803 Dupont Circle) – The Lego Movie
August 15: Blackwell (1450 Maury St) – The Nut Job
August 22: Forest Hill Park (41st St and Forest Hill) – Frozen
