A dinner featuring the beers of five Virginia breweries and five vegetarian courses from chef Will Wienckowski
To celebrate another year, Grace Street’s Ipanema Cafe will be hosting a dinner pairing the beers of five Virginia breweries and chef Will Wienckowski’s vegetarian dishes. The dinner will be held at Ipanema Cafe in Richmond, Virginia on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at 6:30 PM.
Tickets are $50 (tax/tip included). Call (804) 213-0190 or stop by the restaurant to order your tickets. Seating is limited.
The quality of Richmond and Virginia breweries will be on full display with selections from Lexington’s Devils Backbone Brewing Company, Goochland’s Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery, Apocalypse Ale Works from Forest, and Richmond’s own Strangeways Brewing and Hardywood Park Craft Brewery.
Wienckowski will offer a hearty seasonal five course menu, to include:

Roasted Winter Root Vegetable Salad with a sage and shallot dressing

Moules Frites Style Broth with saffron dumplings, endive, seared fennel, and fried matchstick potatoes

Cauliflower Flan with sautéed butternut squash, brussels sprouts, and a hazelnut cream

Shepherd’s Pie with mushrooms and colcannon, topped with irish cheddar

Cinnamon Rolls Three Ways: Creme Anglaise, Salted Caramel, Bitter Chocolate with candied lemon peel
