Carly and Emaleigh of the Richmond Tarot Project, a photographic exploration and reinterpretation of the Tarot deck using iconic Richmond locations and local models, are asking for donations to help complete the project and get ready for an October show at Gallery 5. As of this morning they’ve garnered over $600 of the $1,250 that they are seeking.

We’re so happy and honored to have been asked to show the final project at Gallery5 in October, with the opening reception taking place (First) Friday, October 4th!

This is where you come in. We’re raising this money to help offset the cost of printing each of the final pieces at the size and quality that would do them justice. We will also be using some of the funds to purchase props, costumes, backgrounds, and other materials for use in the final cards that we’re shooting in the coming weeks.
