Virginia voters can now register online
Virginia becomes one of 21 states that’s passed online voter registration laws.
Virginians can now register to vote, as well as update their existing voter information, online with the State Board of Elections.
The change comes following the General Assembly passing House Bill 2341 in February, which was later signed into law by Gov. Bob McDonnell the following month. Virginians previously had to mail in their application or visit their local voter registration office.
