This Sunday, December 7th from 12-4 pm, Books On Wheels
will hold a book drive in the parking lot of the Carytown UKROPS.
We are looking mostly for children’s books, but will be able to use
most reading material. If you have any extra kid’s books or know
someone who does, please bring them by Ukrops this Sunday.
Also, any kid’s bikes will be greatly appreciated and put to great
use.And if you have extra time, we can use help sorting these books
into different sections. We will be funneling these books to over
8 local non-profits who will then turn them into holiday gifts for
their clients. It should be an easy and fun day of sorting books,
so if you have the time, we would love to see you.
And on Saturday, December 6th at 2 pm we will host a signing
with Anna Tomczak for her book Sanctuary. Anna will be the visiting
artist at Quirk Gallery where her exhibition will open on December 6th.
