The 11/29 issue of the West Avenue Gazette is out: info about Santa’s upcoming visit, the New Year’s Oyster Roast, volunteering for the 2013 Garden Tour, and an attempted robbery at the end of November:
Now for some troubling news. As you may have seen in a recent email from our webmaster, we had an attempted robbery on West Ave on the evening of November 28th at approximately 9:30PM. Luckily, no one was injured and the suspects were scared off. RPD is investigating. Please be aware of your surroundings when you are walking in the neighborhood, especially after dark. Be vigilante for any suspicious activity and secure valuables in your car and on your porches. Call 911 if you see anything suspicious.
