Richmond Police’s crime report shows that there was an abduction/rape near the intersection of Monteiro Avenue and Poe Street just southeast of Battery Park on the evening of September 23. According to the report, the crime took place on the 2000 block of Monteiro Avenue. The female victim reported that she was abducted and assaulted by an unknown male with a gun. According to a neighbor in the area, the suspect is still at large.
