Food Fight

Food fight is a battle of the bands with a twist, each band is to be made up entirely of coworkers from different restaurants around Richmond. Each band will get a ten-minute set to prove their skills to the crowd.

Carytown Farmer’s Market

Every Sunday at 3300 West Cary Street in the Carytown Cleaners parking lot. The Carytown Farmers Market, a small scale producer only market, was created to give local farmers, producers of goods, and consumers the opportunity to deal directly with each other, rather than through third parties.

Virginia Beer Brunch

Secco’s monthly (final Sunday) Beer Brunch for August will feature an all VA draft list and a menu chock-full of local ingredients. This is not a ticketed event, all items are served a la carte. City Council Formal Meeting

Every 2nd and 4th Mon – Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.

Frequency
Typically the second and fourth Monday of each month; 6:00-8:30 p.m. (With the exception of August, when no Formal meetings are held, and holidays)
