Armstrong has beaten TJ 7 straight games (and 9 of 10), though in 2011 this was the Wildcats’ only victory.
Pre-season rankings in the Capital District put the Wildcats 7th in the 8 team league, just ahead of the Glen Allen Jaguars. The Wildcats have had losing records since 2006, when they went 5-5. The Wildcats are ranked #212 in the state, out of 306 high school programs. Armstrong’s schedule has 3 games against teams in the top 50 and 5 with teams in the top 100: Hanover (#28), Varina (#36), Atlee (#50), Highland Springs (#58), and Lee-Davis (#75).
