Blue Sky Fund is hiring CDL (commercial drivers license) certified drivers to drive our school busses to and from Explorers field trips.
Explorers is an experiential education program through which Blue Sky Fund partners with 3rd grade classrooms in the Richmond Public School (RPS) system. Each partner school participates in ten monthly field trips in the Richmond area; these trips incorporate team-building activities, experiential lessons correlated to standardized tests, and nature exploration.
Drivers will be responsible for picking students up at the elementary school, driving to the field trip site, and driving students back to school at the end of the day. Pick up will be at 9 AM and drop off will be at 2 PM.
Qualifications/Requirements:
– CDL certification
– Clean record (background check required)
– Daytime availability (8:30-2:30)Salary Information:
Compensation will be on a per diem basis and will be negotiated upon hire. There are 10 field trips per month. Full time (10 field trips) and part time (less than 10 field trips) applicants will be considered.
