Woofstock is Richmond Animal League’s family and pet-friendly festival featuring live music, food, drinks, activities for kids and pets this Saturday, April 28th, 2012, on Monument Avenue between Allen and Lombardy Streets. Kicking off the day’s festivities will be the annual Strut Your Mutt Walk, where packs of pets and their humans will parade around the event grounds to get the party started.
SCHEDULE
9:30 – Strut Your Mutt Walk kicks off the festivities
10:00 – Woofstock officially begins
10:45 – Fashion Show: head up to the main stage to view the latest in canine fashion; presented by PetSmart
11:15 – Costume Contest: dress your pup to the nines and compete to claim the prize for the best costume!
11:45 – Best Trick
12:15 – Frosty Paws Eating Competition
12:45 – Owner/Pet Look Alike Contest
1:30 – Parade of Adoptable Pets
2:00 – End of Woofstock
