Volunteer to help out a the 2012 Strawberry Street Festival:
Did you know that it takes more than 300 volunteers to make the Strawberry Street Festival a success?
Click HERE to help out at the Strawberry Street Festival and help your child’s teacher, too!
This year we will once again be holding a contest to see which class can recruit the most volunteers.
Will Ms. Campbell, Ms. Kite, and Ms. Harris’ classes win again or will there be new champions? The three classes with the highest number of volunteer points wins. Teachers will given a $50 gift certificate for classroom use from a store of their choice.
Here’s how it works:
One point is given to your child’s teacher for every 1½ hour shift your family volunteers at the festival. Work 2 shifts and get two points, etc.
Moms, dads, grandparents and community-minded neighbors can all help accumulate points!
Raffle volunteers will earn points, too. They’ll get 4 points for working all 10 mornings or 1
point for every 4 shifts taken.More than one child at Fox? Don’t worry. Any points your family earns will be given to each of your children’s teachers.
Strawberry Street Festival! Saturday, May 12 from 12:00-4:30.
