At inRich there’s a new story (well it’s part of a larger story) about personnel “actions” at VCU, to do with the Rodney Monroe degree flap.

Virginia Commonwealth University says it has taken “appropriate personnel actions” related to the awarding of an undergraduate degree to Richmond’s former police chief.

Click here to read the rest of it. What you won’t find is what actions have been taken, or who was affected by those actions.

While this rather thin revelation says VCU is working on resolving the matter, I doubt it will satisfy the university’s critics that are bent out of shape about how and why the former police chief got a degree that it appears he may not have been eligible to receive.
