In the 1980’s, 1100 W. Cary Street, at the intersection of Cary and Harrison, was home to Hard Times, a club catering to Richmond’s hardcore punk scene. Vacant for almost a decade, the corner building then housed a short-lived noodle shop, and then a satellite version of Indochine. Opening its doors again, the pale brick walls now host Elephant Thai , a lunch and dinner café serving authentic Thai cuisine.
