The Carytown Merchants Associate met recently with the Richmond Economic Development Committee and the RPD to talk shop, and a lot of interesting ideas came out of it. One of those was the possibility of 4-hour parking on Cary Street versus the 2-hour standard today.

4-hour parking would solve most of the problems – plenty of time for customers to catch a movie, have a meal, and do some shopping without moving their car. The restriction would also keep people from monopolizing spots all day long.
