One of Richmond’s best whitewater rafting companies says it has survived the economic recession without losing too much business.

From Work It, Richmond:

Riverside Outfitters, launched in Richmond in 2005, is aiming to become a year-round destination for outdoor activities in the region and beyond.

President and co-owner Matthew Perry says his company provides the public with a bevy of options, from whitewater rafting to bike rentals.

“We provide many services: kayaking, paddling, tube rental and more. Our goal is to be the cornerstone of the Richmond community and be a place where people want to return and keep coming back,” said Perry.
