Falls of the James Group, Sierra Club presents Bringing Offshore Wind to Virginia – What will it take? on Wednesday, September 14, 7PM at the Science Museum of Virginia.

If Virginia is to be an early leader in the manufacturing of off shore wind turbines, ship building to install and service the turbines, and in the deployment of wind farms off the coast of Virginia Beach, we need to get it blowing!! Virginia has the opportunity to create 10,000 career length good paying jobs in this emerging industry. So, what will it take to make this happen? Join us to find out what must be done and what you can do to help bring clean, renewable offshore wind power to Virginia.

Program to be be presented by Glen Besa, Director of Virginia State Chapter of the Sierra Club. A Virginia based wind developer has also been invited to speak. The program will last an hour , is free and open to public. Call
