Beginning June 28, Pamplin Historical Park & The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier will be open to the public from 9am until 6pm.  The Park will maintain these extended hours until August 10 and then return to the normal hours of 9am until 5pm.

The extended summer hours allow visitors to enjoy even more of what Pamplin Historical Park has to offer.  Guests learn interesting facts about the Civil War and what is was like to be a soldier.  They may spend extra time walking the trails and seeing the historic battlefield and earthworks.  Visitors enjoy additional programming, like the daily “King of Battle” cannon-firing demonstration.  There are many different options for guests during these extended hours to bring even more history to life!
