Kain Road Closed Next Week for Drainage Improvement Project
A rural Short Pump road will be closed beginning next week for construction. The Henrico County Department of Public Works has announced that Kain Road will close beginning Monday, August 15 for drainage improvements related to the North Gayton Road Extension Project.

A rural Short Pump road will be closed beginning next week for construction. The Henrico County Department of Public Works has announced that Kain Road will close beginning Monday, August 15 for drainage improvements related to the North Gayton Road Extension Project.
Detours will be posted during the five day work period.
Residents of Kain Road can access their homes via the Shady Grove Estates subdivision, off Pouncey Tract Road. Electronic message boards will advise residents of the closure ahead of time.
